How do I get to the vEnue?

More details on getting there.

If you’re staying in Avignon, we’ll provide a shuttle service to and from the wedding + the brunch (more details to come).

If you’re staying in the countryside, you’ll need to drive to the venue, either with a rental car or a taxi (more details below).

Parking at the Venue?

Yes, parking is available at the venue.

What about taxis? Uber?

The South of France is quieter than NYC; so taxis are a great option but not available on command. You’ll need to call ahead of time to reserve -

Taxi Gambetta or Alpilles Driver are 2 good options. If you need help booking these, please reach out to us!

Are kids invited?

We love your Minis and would be happy to have them on this special day :) Please just let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly!

Should I rent a car?

It depends.

If you don’t want to rent a car and are excited to explore a famous French city, we recommend staying in Avignon. We’ll provide shuttles to & from the wedding and the brunch.

If you want to discover Provence, you will need a car. It’s worth it! You can rent cars easily (and more cheaply than in the US) at the Avignon TGV Train Station. Note that (1) Frenchies drive stick-shift, so ask for an automatic ahead of time if you need it; and (2) you can rent a car with an American License, but will be asked for an “IDP” (a formal translation of your US license); call triple A to get this.

What’s the weathEr like in July?

HotTemperatures hover around 85 degrees (30c), sometimes even more. Bring light and breathable clothing!

How should I dress?

Attire for the Wedding Day is Cocktail (think dresses & summer suits). Dress casually for the Welcome Drinks and Brunch - and bring a bathing suit to the Brunch if you wanna take a dip!

Note that it will be hot (85 degrees), so we recommend breathable fabrics like linen and cotton.

Will there be fireworks for the 4th?

Non :)

Will we celebrate Bob’s Bday?

Maybe :)
